That Solar Guy's Solar Glossary
Solar has a language all it's own. From the equipment such as inverters, optimizers, splice bars, and mid-clamps to the electrical parts like sub's, discos, LB, LR, LL, flex and even the tasks like set feet, wire pull, & level the rails. Before you even order a kit you should be able to speak about energy, power, amps, Volts, Watts, and definitely the 120% Rule. Concepts such as The Solar Window, PTC vs STV, bonding, Net Metering, over current protection. Come here whenever you see a word you don't understand or start here and surf the pages till your mind explodes. LOL. Don't see it? LMK I'll add it. Enjoy! Blue Skies, Jeff
